This year I was in Naperville for Christmas. It was a very different Christmas compared to last year when Abby was a newborn and we traveled out to Iowa City. I had a wonderful weekend filled with delicious food and quality time with my family. Here are a few pictures: Christmas 2010

It’s hard to believe that Abby is one year old! She is a very active little girl and loves to be thrown up in the air and hang upside down. Abby also enjoys music and books. I made Abby a special book for her birthday that has photos from the first year of her life. It was fun to watch her open the gift and get excited about seeing herself on the cover of a book. Today I went on my fifth tour with the Chicago Architecture Foundation. It was a frigid day in Chicago, but I still ventured out with my parents and a few relatives to go on a tour of the Chicago Theater District. Since I joined the Chicago Architecture Foundation, I have been on the following tours: River North Neighborhood, The Great Chicago Fire, South Loop, North Loop, and the Chicago Theater District. Tomorrow I'm going on a lunchtime tour of the Marshall Field Building (Macy's) with my coworker. I have really enjoyed learning about the history of Chicago with my friends and family.
