Colorado

The week after Christmas we were in Colorado with my family.  We went skiing for a couple days and then spent time together at my sister's house in Aurora.  Kate LOVES baseball, and she was so excited to be able to play baseball outside with her Uncle Dave.

Aloft Loft Circus Arts

In September, Aloft moved to it's new home in Logan Square...a 109 year old church with 6,000 square feet of studio space.  This fall/winter I have enjoyed trying out some of the new classes that are being offered like teeterboard, swinging trapeze, and trampoline.

2016 World Series - Game 4

We secured tickets for Game 4 of the World Series because Dave is a partial season ticket holder.  Attending one of the historic 2016 World Series games for the Cubs is an experience we will never forget!

Palm Springs

The destination this year for our annual family vacation was Palm Springs, CA.  We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, doing crafts, hiking in Joshua Tree National Park, and watching the Cubs play in the World Series.

20 Year High School Reunion

I can't believe it has been 20 years since I graduated from Naperville Central High School!  In the afternoon, I took a tour of my high school and saw all the renovation projects they have recently done.  The big reunion party was in the evening.  It was fun to see friends from high school and catch up on life.  
  

Denver

We traveled to Denver to spend time with my family and cheer on the Cubs at Coors Field.

Atlanta

Summer is not the ideal time to visit Atlanta, but that's when the Cubs were in town this year.  This is the final season at Turner Field before the Braves move to SunTrust Park.  We endured the intense heat of Atlanta while we took a walking tour of the downtown area.  I enjoyed exploring Olympic Park and the Delta Fight Museum.

San Francisco

We took a quick trip to San Francisco to watch the Cubs play at AT&T Park.  The views from AT&T Park are spectacular!

Girls' Weekend

This year my family started a new tradition of having a girls’ weekend.  Our destination was a sandbox of epic proportions – the Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado.  The entire dune field encompasses 30 square miles and the tallest dune towers 750 feet high.  This National Park actually has the highest mountains of sand in North America.

Tampa

Dave and I traveled to Tampa to watch the White Sox and enjoy the warm Florida weather.  Highlights of our trip included a tour of the historic Tampa Bay Hotel and exploring Busch Gardens.

California

In April, we traveled to California with my parents.  We watched the Cubs beat the Angels on Opening Day, explored the LA area, went to the Crystal Cathedral, and spent time with my brother and his wife.  Dave and I also took a quick trip to San Diego to watch the White Sox at the 2016 All-Star stadium.
